The growth and success of the Fremont Area Community Foundation wouldn’t be possible without the dedicated leadership of our Board of Directors. These individuals generously volunteer their time, energy, and expertise—serving on committees, guiding grant decisions, and helping shape the vision of our work in the community.
Board members commit to serve up to three three-year terms, and many fulfill the full nine years. This year, we extend our sincere thanks to three retiring members whose service has made a lasting impact: Patti Beebe, a valued member of the grants committee; Terry McClain, who served in every officer role—from Secretary/Treasurer to President—and contributed to nearly every committee, including grants, development, investments, and strategic planning; and Steve Swanson, who has served as the grants committee chair for five years.
We are deeply grateful for their commitment and leadership. In keeping with our tradition, a tree will be planted in a Fremont-area park in honor of each retiring board member—a living tribute to their years of service and care for our community.
