Community Generosity Tops Half a Million Dollars During 2026 Fremont Area Big Give

Thanks to the generosity of donors like you, the 2026 Fremont Area Big Give raised $504,576 in just 24 hours to support 76 local nonprofits serving the greater Dodge County area. More than 2,199 gifts were made during the community-wide giving day, bringing the total amount raised since the Big Give began in 2017 to nearly $4 million.

This year’s giving day highlighted the power of participation and community support:

  • 95.6% of transaction fees were covered by donors, helping nonprofits receive nearly the full value of every gift.
  • 58% of donations were $50 or less, proving that gifts of all sizes make a meaningful difference when combined.
  • 19% of online gifts came from new donors, demonstrating the Big Give’s ability to connect local causes with new supporters.
  • Participating nonprofits secured $54,100 in matching funds, and organizations with matching opportunities raised nearly four times as much as those without them.

The impact of the Big Give was further amplified through $51,500 in prizes, made possible by generous local businesses and organizations. These incentives helped nonprofits engage donors, build momentum, and strengthen their fundraising efforts throughout the day.
