On March 27th, the Fremont Area Community Foundation and United Way of Dodge & Washington Counties co-hosted community-wide Bridges Out of Poverty trainings that sparked meaningful conversations about the realities of poverty in our community and the role each sector can play in creating pathways forward.
We're excited to continue that momentum with a new series of Bridges Out of Poverty Sector Breakout Trainings on June 3rd, 4th, and 12th. These upcoming sessions will take a deeper dive into how poverty impacts specific sectors—including, healthcare, nonprofits, law enforcement/criminal justice, business/employers, faith communities, and more—and will provide opportunities for practical discussion, collaboration, and action planning.
